It was the most fantastic Christmas tree anyone had ever seen. 

Rising at one end of the garden room at least 60 feet in the air, like “some great Athena in a Greek temple.” 

This “Athena” was bedecked with a mass of colored baubles, 5,000 in all, some as big as pumpkins.

Greenacres, Harold Lloyd’s 44-room mansion, was the “hottest ticket in town” come the holidays. 

And since you knew that nobody in their right mind could compete with the surroundings, you were smart enough not to try.

All you needed was: The perfect drape. 

The perfect velvet. 

The perfect cut. 

Say hello to Clark, he’s just coming over with the perfect Martini.

1930s Velvet Evening Dress (No. J7922). True to the 1930s original. Simple front and back neckline, with that back action slightly lower. Bias cut has never been improved on for that impeccable way it suggests your curves without giving them away. Imported.

Get it quick!

I bought the dress that matches this and I'm so glad I did!! I'm a 36DDD and ordered both the L & XL, kept the XL.

This dress is amazing!!! I have it in three different colors and it fits like a glove in all the right places!! I’m a 36DDD and ordered a size 12 originally, however it was tight across my chest. The size 14 fits better. Customer service was great to work with. I also got the cape to go with this emerald green dress. You won’t be disappointed!!
