Hot, but not exotic enough. I grab the next hydro-boat (not an easy ride I must admit) and head south to Morocco.

Yes, Ouarzazate will be my arena. 

The Berber translation of the name, “without confusion,” is confusing because there is nothing but confusion as I negotiate its winding streets in search of the perfect summer top.

I head for the Berbere Palace Hotel for refreshments and find a small, extremely upscale boutique where this one reinforced Ouarzazate's reputation as the “Beverly Hills of the Desert.”
