Staying Power.

The Balmacaan has quite a long history. It has its origins in the 19th century, and came to life at the Balmacaan estate near Inverness, Scotland.
Its essential virtue, as with most things of true elegance, is subtlety. Infinitely stylish. Always handsome.
The style, single-breasted, unstructured. The sleeve runs up and over the shoulder, creating a clean, smooth line all the way up to the collar.
Those are the basics.
From there, we played with fabric and pattern to develop and a new take on a time-honored classic.

Blackwatch Balmacaan (No. J7443). Handsomely oversized wool Balmacaan overcoat. Blackwatch plaid in a superb wool and poly blend. Prussian collar. Button tabs at cuffs. Raglan sleeve. Dark navy acetate lining. Two exterior pockets. Cotton corduroy on front-facing inside of pockets for extra warmth. Button tab at sleeves. Dark faux horn buttons. Vented back. Welt and zipper interior pockets. Falls just below the knee. Imported.
