Striped Regatta Club Blazer

Any heritage worth its salt comes with a few quirks.
Did you really think the sport of rowing would be an exception?
To join the Cambridge Archetypals, say, legend says you have to meet three requirements: row in the Oxford-Cambridge boat race, get a third in your university degree (a fail, effectively), and spend three nights in Cambridge jail.
It's bad luck for a rowsman to wash his blazer (stains are stories), and blazers are handed down between club members and generations. Which is why, within the enclosure at the Royal Henley Regatta, you’re bound to see jackets that don’t quite fit the wearer.
Our right-to-wear requirements are much simpler.
Same implied pedigree. Still legendary.
